My name is Jeroen van Oosten and I am a freelance Linux software developer and system administrator; Bankai Software is the name of my one-man company.

Most of knowledge and expertise is with Linux and Open Source tools. I focus on the following areas:

• Writing mature Linux applications in C++ and C.
• Building web applications with PHP, Ajax and MySQL (LAMP systems).
• Linux system administration.

I have more than 20 years of experience with Linux; in that time I explored every nook and cranny of it. Ranging from low-level kernel programming to writing GUI applications and detailed configuration of servers to complete web applications.
